WELCOME
My home and studio are in the Pohangina Valley, where family and farm life, seasonal rhythms, and daily noticing shape both how I live and how I make.
I am a practicing artist of over twenty years, balancing creativity alongside motherhood, small business and rural life. My paintings are rooted in storytelling, drawing on my English heritage, held within the landscape of New Zealand. Animals and birds appear as messengers, companions and witnesses, and nature acts as an active participant in my work.
At the centre of my practice is The Real Work of Art; a commitment to continue making through cycles of doubt, the arrival of thresholds, and return, ultimately trusting in persistence over ease…
