Made with ancient Black Maire, sourced here on our farm, these earrings have been handcrafted and shaped to form a simple, yet beautiful circle.

In the celtic tradition, the circle is closely associated with nature and the inner soul of a person and is often associated with the sun and the moon, embodying the balance of light and dark, day and night.

To showcase the timber, the surface has been sanded till smooth and then beeswax has been applied to pop the colour and grain of the timber.

The Black Maire (Nestegis cunninghami) tree typically symbolises strength and is one of New Zealand’s hardest timber.
