Luna Earrings (large).

Made with ancient Black Maire root, turned over in a paddock here on our farm, these statement piece earrings have been handcrafted and shaped to form a crescent (waxing or waning depending on how you wear it!) and full moon.

To showcase the timber, the reverse side has been oiled and the top side has been finished with resin, allowing the grain of the maire to really pop!

The Black Maire (Nestegis cunninghami) tree typically symbolises strength and is one of New Zealand’s hardest timber.
