Luna Earrings (small).

Made with ancient Black Maire root, turned over in a paddock here on our farm, these elegant little earrings have been handcrafted and shaped to form a crescent (waxing or waning depending on how you wear it!) and full moon.

To showcase the timber, the timber is sanded to a smooth finish. The timber has then received a coat of beeswax to really pop that beautiful grain and colour.

The Black Maire (Nestegis cunninghami) tree typically symbolises strength and is one of New Zealand’s hardest timber.

Length - Approx 50mm (including earring hook and moon element)

Diameter of full moon - 25mm
