Part of the original maire series when I was first brought home the timber as a gift. I began by painting a series of my favourite birds.

This Thrush is the last remaining, collectable because it is the only one of its kind on a piece of ancient New Zealand native Maire root, ethically sourced (found) on our farm in the Pohangina Valley.
