Created in acrylic on board and sealed beneath a glass-like resin, this miniature fox is finished with a copper strap frame. Every detail captures the fox’s character and the nostalgic sense of midwinter folklore that has woven itself through my art practice this year. The colour palette for this collection draws from the rich tones of aged copper patina, a theme that will continue into the printed mini Christmas décor to come.

This fox is also a tribute to my enduring love of old English folk music. Returning to those sounds has sparked a fresh wave of storytelling in the studio, little tales within larger ones, threads of myth and memory intertwining.
