Step into the ancient woods of imagination with Sherwood — a pair of handcrafted oak leaf earrings shaped from native New Zealand Maire wood and designed to echo the strength and cycles of the forest.

Each leaf is lovingly shaped by hand and finished with a unique copper stem which forms the central vein, running the length of the leaf and leading to a rose gold-plated hook. The earring is made from Black Maire (Nestegis cunninghami), one of New Zealand’s hardest and most sacred native timbers, traditionally symbolising strength and endurance. The reverse side is oiled to preserve the timber’s raw beauty, while the top is sealed with resin, enhancing the natural grain and giving each piece a rich, organic glow.

Inspired by timeless tales of personal family history rooted in Sherwood Forest and the enduring power of trees, these earrings carry the essence of the wild — grounded, elegant, and deeply symbolic.
